Will-Powered

Growing up, I’d hear people say, “It’s in the Bible,” but honestly, I didn’t pay much attention until recently. Then I came across this verse:

Isaiah 66:17
“Who eat swine’s flesh, detestable things and mice, will come to an end altogether,” declares the Lord.

So, yeah… no pork for me.

Shoutout to My Bro-in-Love 💖

Huge thanks to @ericdean86 for preparing such a beautiful and thoughtful spread! The effort was truly appreciated, but here’s why most of it was a hard #Nope for me:

  1. Turkey Bacon
    • Processed? Nope.
    • Cooked on aluminum? Double nope. (I avoid aluminum cookware due to potential leaching.)
  2. Paper Plates
    • Nope again. They’re full of toxic chemicals and bad for the environment.
  3. Cinnamon Rolls
    • Loaded with sugar, carbs, and glyphosate. Nope.
  4. Eggs
    • This one breaks my heart because I love eggs—especially boiled eggs! They’re incredibly nutritious and efficient.
    • The issue? These weren’t organic, cage-free, and I’ve developed an allergy that causes a breakout on my chest.

My Real Breakfast 🌿✨

Here’s what I had instead (not pictured):

  • Warm Water + Fresh Lemon Juice + Apple Cider Vinegar
    • Drank on an empty stomach, and it’s been amazing for reducing visceral and tummy fat.
  • Yogurt
    • Mixed with a small amount of dog dewormer (yes, you read that right). It’s been the best option I’ve found so far, though I’m working on sourcing ultra-pasteurized whole milk to make my own yogurt.

My Current Health Journey

I’m continuing to eat Keto as much as possible while incorporating daily movement like:

  • Walking
  • Yoga
  • Group fitness classes
  • Hydro massage, direct-contact massage, and sauna sessions

This combination keeps my body active, relaxed, and energized.

Recent Health Updates

  • My PET scan showed a spot on my liver and one in my abdomen.
  • liver MRI confirmed that my liver is fine.
  • pelvic ultrasound revealed an infection in the left fallopian tube area.

I’ll be seeing a pelvic oncologist Monday to learn more. I’m not entirely sure why it needs to be an oncologist, but I’ll hear them out and take the next steps from there.

Why No Chemo Yet?

Everyone around me has been lovingly concerned, asking why I haven’t started chemo yet. Here’s why:

  1. I believe there are more natural ways to heal cancer that are healthier for the body.
  2. I wanted to wait for the PET scan results before beginning any invasive treatment.

Turns out, following my intuition has served me well again!

Final Thoughts

This journey has been a mix of faith, intuition, and science. I’m doing everything I can to make thoughtful, intentional choices for my health, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support around me.

If you’re on your own journey, remember this: you have the power to choose what’s best for your body. Trust your intuition, do your research, and stay focused on your healing.
