Our story

color my city Project

Why bother? Because when you enter a city, the walls tell a story. And right now, too many of ours are speaking fear, neglect, and disconnection.

We’re here to change that—with color, with purpose, and with people.

Color My City is a nonprofit art movement transforming graffiti-tagged, forgotten, or neglected spaces into message-driven murals by local artists. It’s about beautifying neighborhoods, connecting community, and amplifying voices that deserve to be seen.

But this isn’t just about paint.
This is about perspective.

Where some see vandalism, we see potential.
Where some see decay, we see space for creativity, mentorship, and hope.

We partner with schools, artists, and city leaders to not only transform walls, but to fund scholarships and support for young artists—especially those who can’t afford supplies, transportation, or access to the creative mentorship they crave.

Every mural has a message.
Every artist gets a voice.
And every person who walks by gets a reminder: beauty belongs here. So do you.

This is about more than art. It’s about legacy.
Let’s color our city—together.
