The Challenge of Asking for Help: My Journey Through Financial PTSD and Cancer Treatment

Asking for help, especially financial help, is incredibly challenging for many, including myself. This post delves into my struggles with seeking assistance, battling PTSD, and navigating the emotional turmoil of my cancer journey.

Financial PTSD:

I have serious PTSD when it comes to asking for financial help. It’s a deeply uncomfortable and painful experience that takes my breath away just thinking about it. This has been the hardest part of my journey.

Recent Struggles:

This past week has been particularly tough. I’ve faced negative thoughts and encountered aggressive behavior from others almost daily. This experience highlights that everyone is dealing with their battles.

Grace and Understanding:

Despite the challenges, I believe we need to extend more grace to each other and ourselves. Everyone has bad days, and sometimes we unknowingly take out our frustrations on others. Understanding and compassion can go a long way.

Personal Reflections:

On difficult days, I remind myself of the importance of grace. We’re all human, and we all have moments of weakness. Last Friday, I lashed out due to my struggles, and I realized how essential it is to give grace to others who might be facing similar battles.

Healing Through Diet:

I focus on healing my body naturally through clean keto eating and other healthy habits. Diet plays a crucial role in my recovery and overall well-being.

If you’re facing similar struggles, remember that it’s okay to ask for help. Extending grace to yourself and others can make a significant difference. Share your experiences and tips for healing and coping with challenges in the comments. I blog about the things that have helped me so be sure to read through it and my website.

Asking for help and accepting it is not a sign of weakness but a step towards healing. Embracing grace, both for ourselves and others, is crucial in our journey.
