By April, I’d gotten down to 115 pounds which was a bit thin for my 5’8″ build. My parents all but kidnapped me and took me to MD Anderson Emergency Room a few days after my birthday this year and I’m so thankful they did!

Today, I’m healing and doing all I can do to work with people I want to see succeed and trying my best not to jump at the first thing that comes along just because I don’t have ANY income right now.
I’m working on a few projects- which can be found at the very bottom of this page if you’d like to follow those journeys also- as I can between down days from chemo and shotty internet service. I lost my car as soon as I went on short-term disability in February with my employer. So even if I wanted to return to work with them right now, I couldn’t because they do not offer working-from-home accommodations.
I do what I can with bumming rides from friends and family and try everything possible to stay in the moment and grateful, in mediation, grounding, and focused on healing as much as possible.
