This last weekend was the first in YEARS it seems, I’ve had more than a few hours to myself! I’m sure many of you mommas can relate – don’t forget mine is grown with her own; and I was a single mom for many of those nights. I wouldn’t trade em for the world but saying we all juggle a lot, and deal with too much most days; constantly pulled one direction and another is an understatement, but realize your power! You’re capable of all you do and people love you! Yes we need rest, and I got plenty of it over this holiday weekend. It’s unreal the amount of times I had to make myself lay back down and rest tho!
The best thing I did was rearrange my room. 2018 I moved in with my sister after ruining my life financially, in a very “it’s only temporary” manner. Since, I’ve bounced around back and forth between trying everything imaginable to make an off and on of ten plus years of insanity work. Never drawing clear boundaries because you’re supposed to discuss these things in person and who wants to spend your few hours a month FOR YEARS you have together feeling anything but rainbows and butterflies?
Leaving out a lot of details, I’m still here. Thank God-for my beautiful inside and out baby sister! And her amazing, selfless second hubs- a true Godsend. I’m pretty certain I wouldn’t be alive today without them. So, I’m still here… and until this last weekend, still in a very temporary fashion as far as the closet/clothes situation!
I rearranged my room, turning my bed 90 degrees and moving it to the opposite side of the window, switching it and my dresser. Now that my dresser is partially under the window, I brought my plants home from work, and I am just so in love with my space!
Your prayers and good vibes are working! Today I’ve felt the best I have yet! No fever, no chills, no aches, no breast pain, no arm pain, no back pain, no stomach pain, no migraine. Hallelujah!
